APLDCA - East Bay District
The East Bay District serves APLD® California Chapter members residing in Alameda and Contra Costa counties. Our meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at the Veterans Memorial Building in Lafayette, unless otherwise announced. Joining the APLD-East Bay District will provide you with strong contacts in your field, much needed support in what can be a very solitary endeavor, and continuing education in this constantly evolving field, all within a fun and friendly context.
Each year we offer events that intrigue, educate and inform our members, and enrich their individual design careers. These programs cover a wide range of topics such as “What Designers Should Know About Drainage”, “Fire-Safe Landscaping”, “The Landscape Design Experience—A Client Panel”, “Designing Difficult Spaces”, and “What Are You Worth?”. Our occasional joint meetings with CLCA-East Bay Chapter and with the Landscape Design Forum at Merritt College serve to strengthen our relationships with contractors and students alike.
It would be our pleasure to meet you and have you join our activities. Sharing of experiences and learning from each other is what makes us strong. Please feel free to contact any of the Board members listed below to answer any specific questions you have, or better yet, come meet us this month in person!
